But, many mothers are unaware of what it is or the problems for mother and baby that can result from it. Grace is a founding member of the International Affiliation of Tongue-tie Professionals, which is by invitation only. Grace has been a La Leche League leader since 1975 and is a Professional Lactation Consultant. She has worked as a Lactation Consultant at the Naval Military Hospital, Pomerado Hospital, Pomerado Lactation Clinic, and her own private practice, “Breastfeeding with Grace”. She still serves as a LLL Leader, is the Assistant Area Professional Liaison for LLL of Southern California, and is on the Continuing Education Committee for the Southern California area Conference every year. Grace is a member of the International Lactation Consultant Association, The United States Lactation Consultant Association, The San Diego County Breastfeeding Coalition, The International Affiliation of Tongue-tie Professionals, and La Leche League International.
